This half term our Health and Wellbeing focus is healthy lifestyles and keeping safe. These are part of the physical strand of Health and Wellbeing.
We will be learning about the importance of eating healthy and the benefits it gives us. We will also be learning what a habit is and why it can be difficult to change them.
During our focus of keeping safe we will be learning to understand school rules about health and safety, basic emergency first aid procedures, where and how to get help . We will also learn about
people who are responsible for helping us stay healthy and safe.
We will be teaching the following skills:
To make the right choices about food
To know why habits might be hard to change
To understand the importance of health and safety
To know the people that keep us safe and what to do in an emergency
